The Rocketeer Exhibition Catalog Launch Party

The Cartoon Art Museum announces a lunch party, celebrating its latest publication, The Rocketeer: The Life and Legacy of Dave Stevens, an exhibition catalog dedicated to the life and artistry of the legendary creator.

This limited edition catalog features a selection of artwork from the Cartoon Art Museum's retrospective exhibition celebrating Dave Stevens and The Rocketeer, as well as highlights from the Cartoon Art Museum's 2023 Dave Stevens Tribute Auction, including works from more than 30 top cartoonists who have been inspired by Stevens and the Rocketeer.

Several of the contributors to the auction and catalog will be in attendance at the Rocketeer Launch Party on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Cartoon Art Museum, including Gary Amaro (Sandman), Brent Anderson (Astro City), Mark Badger (Batman), Tom Beland (True Story Swear to God), Brian Fies (A Fire Story), Jonathan Lemon (Rabbits Against Magic), Lea Seidman (My Little Pony), Denis St. John, Jonathan Way$hak, Jennifer Stevens-Bawcum (The Rocketeer Trust), and additional guests to be announced.
