Sharing Our Grandparents' Herbal Remedies

On May 19, the focus will be on the uses of Dandelion, Rue, and the preparation of tinctures and home remedies. The second meeting, on May 26, will focus on the Marigold, Rosemary, Spearmint, and additional home treatments. The herbalist has chosen plants and treatments that are locally available so everyone can apply what they learn in their own homes.

The conversation will be adapted for both Spanish and English speakers. These two days of sharing offer an unprecedented local opportunity for people to learn the traditional herbal arts from a practitioner. The gathering can accommodate up to 20 participants.
