Colleyville - Film
Documentary, 80 minutes

On January 15, 2022 in the safe haven of Colleyville, Texas, Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker and three others find themselves hostages when a stranger disrupts a typical Sunday morning at Congregation Beth Israel Synagogue.

Directed by award-winning flimmaker Dani Menkin, (On the Map, Picture of His Life, Little Town) this gripping real-life drama unfolds over an 11-hour standoff, testing the hostages' resilience and courage in unimaginable ways. This international event captured the world's attention live on TV and Menkin was able to utilize the 11 harrowing hours of footage-much of it previously unreleased-along with reflective interviews with the hostages and their families, to tell the story of the crisis, providing a unique perspective on the ordeal.

Screening followed by Q&A with filmmaker Dani Menkin.
