Lake County Theatre Company
About Us:
Established in 1981, Lake County Repertory Theater successfully produced its first musical play—Li'1 Abner—and went on to entertain Lake County audiences with ambitious productions of well-known plays. Among them were Arsenic and Old Lace and Harvey, as well as challenging musicals—including The Sound of Music and ^Fiddler On the Roof. Between 1987 and 1994, the group went dark due to the lack of a performance space.
We have won acclaim for our productions of works such as On Golden Pond, Steel Magnolias, The Mousetrap, Blithe Spirit, Driving Miss Daisy, The Exonerated, To Kill a Mockingbird and Bus Stop.
In 2008, Lake County Repertory Theater and the Lakeport Community Players joined forces to become the Lake County Theatre Company, a new 501(c) (3) nonprofit community theatre company. Charitable contributions to Lake County Theatre Company are tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law.
