Independence Day Celebration at Central Community Park

The City of Mountain House hosts the annual Independence Day Parade and Celebration at Central Community Park. The parade begins at Central Parkway and Main Street and heads south down Central Parkway to Heritage Drive where it will turn around and head back to Central Community Park where the Celebration continues, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with music and live performances, a kids fun zone, food trucks, local artisan vendors and a whole lot of American pride. Wear your red, white and blue and join us as we celebrate 248 years of independence.

The parade is open to many different parade units including bands or music groups, color guards, floats, marching units, emergency vehicles, comic arts, car clubs, novelty units, commercial or business entries, and political units. We welcome all groups and individuals to participate. The best part is it's FREE to participate!
