Sick Little Freak is a sweet & sour comedy of blood sugars. Audiences are invited into the hilariously chaotic journey of a woman who receives a life-altering diagnosis of type 1 diabetes as an adult following long Covid and a dramatic hospitalization.

Sarah navigates her new reality of insulin injections, counting carbs, and the unpredictable rollercoaster of blood sugar levels. With quick wit and self-deprecating humor, Sarah recounts her misadventures from hypoglycemia on the freeway, to the well-meaning but often misguided advice from friends and family.

From rage-inducing encounters with medical professionals to the absurdities of managing a chronic condition in a world obsessed with weight and wellness trends, Sick Little Freak is a heartwarming and hilarious journey of resilience, and hopefully one day, acceptance.
