Midlife magic in LA, where one woman’s quest for joy turns into a semi-unbelievable adventure. What could happen if you tried life on the soul line instead of the goal line?

Why would a plump, perimenopausal advertising professional create and perform a burlesque act in a real LA show? How in the world did I manage to get myself on the stage of the Comedy Store my 3rd time performing stand up comedy? The short answer is I’ve been following the universe’s messages like a mysterious scavenger hunt that is only being revealed to me one dream, sign and step at a time. It’s an approach that is one part courageous, one part midlife crisis.
