In this contemporary reimagining of Anton Chekhov’s classic play Three Sisters, the Parker family – Jennifer, Molly, Lucy, and Andrew – navigate the tumultuous landscape of modern-day America amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and the social unrest sparked by the murder of George Floyd. Set in a small town far from the Los Angeles of their youth, the siblings struggle with their dreams and disappointments while quarantining in their family home.

Confronting their limitations in the face of those put on them by society, they must ultimately decide whether to cling to the comforts of the past or embrace the challenges of an uncertain future.

With a blend of humor, heartache, and raw emotion, this latest iteration of Chekhov’s classic offers a compelling exploration of family, resilience, and the enduring search for meaning in the face of adversity as it pulls the timeless themes of the original into the present day.
