Fourth of July Celebration
Coronado is famous for its Independence Day festivities, including the patriotic parade down Orange Avenue and concluding with spectacular fireworks shows. Here are some of the activities happening at The Del and around town.

Crown City Classic
The Crown City Classic returns for its 51st year. Run or walk the 12K or 5K along the bay, and kids can join the Crown City Half Mile. The race begins and ends at Tidelands Park.

Coronado Fourth Of July Parade
Pre-Parade Entertainment 7:30 am - 10 am
Join Coronado for its 75th annual Fourth of July parade on Orange Ave., beginning at First Street and ending at Churchill Place and Ocean Boulevard.

Navy Leap Frogs Aerial Demonstration
See a live demonstration of the U.S. NAVY's Leap Frogs Parachute Team at the Coronado Golf Course, 16th Fairway.
2:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Fourth Of July Concerts
Show your dance moves at fun concerts throughout the afternoon at Spreckels Park. It begins with a kids concert by Katlen Dugas from 2:30 to 3:15pm, following by a patriotic concert by the Coronado Concert Band from 4 to 5pm, and finishing with fan-favorite The Mighty Untouchables from 5:45 to 8:30 pm.

Coronado Fourth Of July Fireworks
Celebrate the stars and stripes with a spectacular fireworks display over Glorietta Bay, located directly across the street from The Del. Soundtrack available on KYXY Radio 96.5.

San Diego's "Big Bay Boom"
See the largest Independence Day fireworks show on the West Coast, visible from the Coronado Ferry Landing (music simulcast on 100.7 BIG FM).
