Field Vineyards
Field Vineyards, established in 1980 by mother-and-son team Nina and Patrick Field, has been a force in the wine industry from its start. Beginning as a highly sought after grape grower by some of the most well-respected wine labels in the U.S., the Field family naturally grew to become top notch wine makers with their highly awarded estate label, Katarina, which is crafted by noted winemaker Chris Wills. In 2001 they incorporated their family plastic business into the fold when Patrick, created and manufactured the world's first lightweight wine bottle as a project for the airline industry following the September 11th attacks. Since then he, along with his business partner Ken Merrill, have expanded their products into several other facets of the wine packaging industry by way of their joint venture, EnVino. With a strong handle on every facet of their business, Nina and Patrick have firmly rooted Field Vineyards as an incubator for innovation, creativity, sustainability, and exceptional quality for all things wine.
