As Director of the gallery and with the help of several local artists they began “Congresso de Artistas Chicanos en Aztlan” establishing an outlet for Chicano Artists to exhibit their work.
Pablo is a historian, an avid collector of Chicano Art, and past Board Chairman of the California Heritage Museum, as well as existing Advisory Board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Monica (26 years). An active supporter of local community organizations and an advocate of youth sports in Santa Monica, Pablo is also Past President of Santa Monica United Soccer Club, the oldest youth club on the Westside.
Presently, Mr. De la Rosa is CEO of DLR Electric, Inc. that has served the Santa Monica Bay community for over 40 years. Pablo is a perfect choice to contribute his expertise to all aspects of the history of the Chicano Art Movement!
