Dunn Vineyards

Randy and Lori purchased the original vineyard, today called the Alta Tierra Vineyard, in 1978. Dunn Vineyard's first vintage was produced the following year 1979. Total production is about 4,500 cases split between the Howell Mountain and Napa Valley appellations.

The family owns roughly 200 acres. Only 35 acres are planted under vine. The Howell Mountain and Napa Valley Cabs are always 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Howell Mountain wine is produced with our estate fruit, while the Napa is a blend of our estate Howell Mountain fruit, with some purchased Coombsville fruit. With the red signature wax, those Howell Mountain bottles are easy to spot.
