Double Peak Challenge

Double Peak Challenge is an outdoor 10k/5k and Tot Trot like no other. The eighth annual event brings together San Marcos and neighboring running communities for an amazing challenge amid the panoramic views of North County's highest point. Racers set out from San Elijo Park and begin their 1,176-foot elevation gain up to reach Double Peak's Summit at 1,558 feet. The giveaway items for the 10k will include a racer's bib, a wooden medal, and a shirt. The 5k Fun Run is not timed but still offers the chance to beat your previous time on the course. The 5k Fun Run giveaway items will include a racer's bib, a shirt and a wooden medal. The Kids Trail Trot offers a quick sprint course for younger kids and they will receive a medal.
