On Oct. 10 the School of Management at California Lutheran University will present “AI in the Workplace: Navigating Challenges and Embracing Opportunities.” The ninth annual Executive Talent Management Forumevent willbring togetheracademic speakers and industry leaders to explore how AI has altered the many facets of management. The event will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and held in Lundring Events Center on the Cal Lutheran campus.
Panel moderator Susan Lundeen, chief people officer, Allogene Therapeutics, will explore best practices for incorporating AI with panelists Shafia Hayek, vice president of HR and admin technology, PennyMac Loan Services; Chris Meissner, president, Meissner Corporation (USA); and Andrew Powers, Thousand Oaks city manager.
Vlad Vaiman, Ph.D., professor in the School of Management at Cal Lutheran, is a leading international scholar in the field of talent management. He will deliver the academic keynote, discussing the role of AI in workforce management.
Aaron Anderson, president, Brandes Associates Inc., will be the industry keynote speaker. He will focus on how to prepare organizations for an AI-enabled future by upskilling employees, maintaining a positive workplace culture, protecting intellectual property and guiding the initial stages of AI adoption, particularly in talent management and decision-making processes.Anderson is known for his strategic vision and ability to lead teams to success.
At the event, attendees willlearn about the latest trends in talent management, participate in a round-table discussion, share their organization’s talent management challenges and gain valuable perspectives from academic and industry leaders.
The forum will include breakfast, lunch and networking opportunities.
