4th Of July Fun Run

The Almanor Recreation and Park District’s 43rd annual Chester 4th of July Fun Run will take place at 9am on Thursday, July 4, 2024. The one mile run/walk will start on the Collins Pine lawn and proceed down Chester’s historic Main Street to the finish at the Bidwell House.

Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt (first 400 registrants) and enjoy refreshments at the finish line. After the event, there will be a 4th of July Craft Fair at Chester Park from 10am to 3pm and a 4th of July Parade starting at 11am on Main Street. The Craft Fair is sponsored by the Chester Elks and the Parade is sponsored by the Lake Almanor Area Chamber of Commerce.
