Music in the Stacks - Concert Series - Blue Moon Trio

Free monthly concert series, a spin-off of the popular Music in the Stacks concerts. On the 4thThursday of the month (3rd Thursday this month due to Thanksgiving), there will be a different local band or solo artist playing their music in the library's Fireside Room from 5:00-6:30 pm.

This month's concert features Blue Moon Trio.

Blue Moon Trio with Reno and Sheila McCormick and Julie Sullivan has been making appearances around Northern Arizona for a decade or more. Their most recent shows include Pickin' in the Pines Bluegrass Festival in Flagstaff and Redwall Lounge in Sedona.

With Reno on guitar, mandolin and dobro, Sheila on bass and Julie on guitar, the trio plays a wide repertoire of bluegrass, country and Americana music. Tight vocal harmonies and hot picking are featured in this seasoned group.

Paul Schiminger is a recent transplant from Nashville to Sedona. He is a banjo player extraordinaire and has played several performances lately with Blue Moon. He will be bringing the bluegrass!
