The Mud Run - Little Rock's Dirtiest 5K

This exciting mud and muscle event features two main attractions:

The Mud Run – Little Rock’s Dirtiest 5K

The Mud Run is not your average 5K. Participants may run, walk, skip, trot, or even cavort through our 5Kish (please refer to helpful hints section for the clarification of “ish”) course, which winds through scenic trails of War Memorial Park. The highlight of the race is a frolic through our famous mud pit, ensuring you end the day completely covered in our premium, locally sourced mud.

The point is not to finish fast, but to finish with style. 

Mud, Guts, & Glory Tug-of-War

Teams of six will face off on our specially designed mud pit, pulling with all their might to drag their opponents into the mud pit. The tournament follows a bracket format, with teams advancing until we crown our Mud, Guts, & Glory Champions.

It’s a test of teamwork, strategy, and raw power that’s as fun to watch as it is to participate in.

Whether you’re looking to get muddy in the 5K, test your strength in the tug-of-war, or simply enjoy the festivities, this event offers something for everyone.

Participants can choose to enter one or both events.   Spectators are welcome to cheer on the participants and enjoy the muddy spectacle.  Food vendors, music, and a cleanup station will be available on-site.

7:55 am            Rules and All Other Silly Stuff (yes that’s important too!)

8:01ish am     Official Race Start

8:25 am            Mud Bug Waller

8:45 am            Awards Ceremony & Other Official Stuff

9:30 am            Mud, Guts, & Glory Tug-of-War Start
