Murry's Dinner Playhouse
The theatre opened in 1967 as the Olde West Dinner Theatre. It remodeled and reopened in September 1977 as Murry's. Murry's founder Ike Murry was a well-known and respected lawyer and civic leader, serving as state attorney general during 1948-52 and as a gubernatorial candidate in 1952. Today Ike Murry's daughter Ginger and her son Ike Murry McEntire continue to run the theatre in his tradition.
Murry's is a proud member of the National Dinner Theatre Association, an organization of professional dinner theatres from across the country. Together with the NDTA Murry's sponsors the Ike Murry Memorial Scholarship. An annual scholarship awarded to a University of Arkansas at Little Rock theatre or dance Major.
