Memorial Day Program

Memorial Day is a federal holiday to honor and mourn United States military personnel who died while serving in the US armed forces. We are planning an observance of the sacrifice of Manila service men and women on Monday, May 27, 2024. The guest speaker will be Vietnam Veteran, Jack Bradford. Joe Chipman, a US Navy Veteran, is the Master of Ceremonies and will oversee the impressive Missing Man's Table Ceremony. Fred Greathouse, of the service organization Veterans Helping Veterans, will present a statue and certificate of honor to a local veteran. Arkansas State Representative Johnny Rye will sing the National Anthem and Pastor Alan Glass will sing God Bless the USA. Join us at the Monument at 1 PM and help the people of Manila, along with local and state dignitaries, honor our glorious service men and women who died in service to the United States of America.
