Freedom 5K
Come Celebrate America's Independence with the all new Freedom 5K and back from its 9 year hiatus the Independence Mile!
The 5K and 1 Mile will start and finish at beautiful Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. Both courses will be USATF Certified courses as well as Sanctioned events. We're excited to make this the premier July 4th race in the Tennessee Valley taking you through the beautiful streets of Downtown Huntsville as well as Old Town.
Event Schedule:
7:00AM - Freedom 5k
8:15AM - The Independence Mile
9:00AM - One of the most American Foods (all beef hot dogs) imaginable will be served along with other refreshments.
Awards
Awards will take place at 9:15 AM.
Awards both the 5k and 1 mile will have awards.
Age group awards will be top 3 in each AG: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
