Registration is now open for Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s 21st annual Liz Hurley Ribbon Run. The event will feature the annual 5K race and Survivors’ Walk.
For 21 years, Ribbon Run has provided North Alabama women with cutting-edge technology and equipment to screen and diagnose breast cancer early. Ribbon Run also invests in patient lives by providing Surviving and Thriving classes, so survivors have access to essential resources and a powerful community of fellow survivors.
Last year’s Ribbon Run hosted an outstanding 6,255 walkers and runners, all in support of making a difference for local breast cancer patients and survivors through the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund at Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
Proceeds from the 2024 Ribbon Run will provide for the top-priority needs of Huntsville Hospital Breast Center, including important software upgrades for three 3D mammogram machines that will improve the appearance of mammographic images for more accurate diagnoses.
