Steve's Equinox Training 2

Start at the Sheep Creek Road pullout by Ann's greenhouse, just past the first railroad crossing and approximately across the road from Mile 8. Run the Equinox course in reverse to Mile 5 and back to Mile 8 for a total of 6 miles. Note: Do not run in the field across from Ann's greenhouse as it is private property and only accessible on race day. Run along Sheep Creek Road past the railroad crossing and follow the Equinox course in reverse along the Sheep Creek bike path. Turn left onto Black Sheep Lane, then another left onto Line Drive, and then a right onto Hafele Avenue. At the last driveway on the right, take the path between Hafele Avenue and the woods on the right. When it starts to open to some fields, veer to the left and follow the path through a rutted section until you come out to the end of Lawlor Road. Follow the curve around to the right and up to the top of the hill. At the top, the road becomes paved. Follow it down and just before the curve to the left, take the path off the left side of the road and follow it up the hill to the intersection with Miller Hill and Yankovich Rd. Run diagonally across the intersection and directly into the UAF ski trail. Follow the winding trail that basically parallels Yankovich until you come to the Mile 5 marker. Turn around here and return to the starting point.
